Recruitment Process

Changing jobs is a major decision which involves risk and a certain amount of anxiety. Using a trusted recruitment consultancy can make all the difference – whether it be access to better jobs and market information, help with contract negotiations, or all the advice you get along the way. From the time you register with Vision Consulting to starting your new job, you can expect that the overall recruitment process to be as follows:

Registration with Vision Consulting

To register on the Vision Consulting web site go to the Search jobs page and click “Register your resume” at the bottom. You can also click “Register your resume” or “Apply for this job” from any of the job details pages. Follow the 3 step process – Enter your data, confirmation, complete – and attach your resume in pdf,rtc doc or xls format. After your registration is complete, you will be able to easily apply for any of the positions advertised on our site, and also benefit from having a career consultant actively searching for jobs that best match your application.

If you need help with your resume please see our guide on Effective Resumes

Meet a Consultant & Career Consulting

After registration, meeting you in person is the first step in the actual placement process. Apart from registering on our site, you can also arrange a meeting by phone to let us know when and where is convenient for you.

Finding Potential Opportunities

Based on your application and the career consultation, we will start to put together a plan to help you achieve your goals including an overview of current market conditions and any opportunities that you might be interested in.

Application & Interviewing

If you think something looks worth pursuing, we’ll recommend you to the company and make preparations for an interview. We’ll advise you on writing a resume, coordinate the interview schedules, and conduct a preparatory interview. With an interview date set, the career consultant can negotiate with the company on some of the terms and conditions that might be difficult for you to convey if you were applying directly.

Remember that the interview process is a chance for you to find our more about the potential new employer so you have all the information you need to make a confident decision. Part of our job is to make sure that both you and the hiring manager have similar and realistic expectations.

Making an Offer & Contract Negotiations

Once the client makes an offer, our career consultant will contact you for further consultation and assistance with the details of negotiation – terms of employment such as starting date and salary. We can either negotiate with the company on your behalf, or provide advice and support during your negotiations. Either way, we’ll do everything we can to secure the offer and terms you want.

Successful Placement & Followup After Work Begins

After successful placement our consultants will also make sure you make a smooth transition to your new employer. We believe in keeping long-term relationships with candidates who have used our services and will followup with you after work begins, however, please feel free to contact us anytime for any of your career-related needs.
