Description Mission of this Position (Why the position exists & How this position is expected to contribute)

Commercial controlling : (including 3 commercial subsidiaries (2 overseas))
- Analyze commercial performance including overseas sales (Sales, Margin, SG&A)
- Support decision making. Validate data provided to the Management. Support and follow actions plans
- Supervise Financial Operations of Commercial subsidiaries

Industrial/R&D controlling : (including 3 manufacturing subsidiaries (2 overseas))
- Financially analyze industrial/R&D performance including subsidiaries (Budget, forecast, closing)
- Financially control industrial/R&D activities
- Provide the report related to industrial/R&D activities to management in order to support decision making

Controlling Financial figures including P&L (Sales 63 bn JPY, EBIT 3 bn JPY in FY2010), Working Capital
- Cooperate with accounting team for monthly closing to ensure accuracy of accounting closing and reporting

Facilitating the financial matter between SE and FCS
- Support the projects related with SE (business transfer etc)
- Validate financial matter by using SE financial information (Set up purchase price of MV product from SE, etc)
- IFRS reporting to SE
- Prepare the Business Review for SE beyond financial matter


Team management: coach and develop local competence and talent
- Coach and develop FCS finance team controlling competence
- Implement and bridge client's controlling tools to FCS
- define talent pipeline and training plans

Required Skills
• University bachelor degree or higher
3-5 years manager experience in Finance control, with experience in performance analysis.
• Project management experience
• International company working experience
• Finance and accounting basics including IFRS knowledge
• Experiences in global matrix organization
• High level English (both writing and speaking)
• High level Japanese (both writing and speaking)
• The challenging capabilities
• Logical thinking and scenario planning capabilities
• Ability to work in an international setting
• Managerial mindset
• Good interpersonal skills
• Sense of responsibility and championship
