説明 Our client is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager for position in Osaka.

An Engagement Manager is a subject matter expert who has business development and consulting service delivery responsibilities.
エンゲージメント·マネージャーは、ビジネス開発およびコンサルティングサービスの提供をする重要なポジションです。

Business Development: Will lead business development efforts to craft the market and client pursuit strategies for selling business consulting services in the Japan market. The person will hunt for new opportunities, diagnose client need, develop sales presentation materials and provide subject matter expertise on sales calls.

Consulting Service Delivery: Responsible for consulting service delivery at any stage of the product development life cycle - envisioning new solutions, market validation, business modeling, product conceptualization, requirements definition, process optimization and launch strategies.

The Engagement Manager is expected to:

• Business Development
o Lead sales efforts, including hunting for new opportunities, qualification, solution visioning, proposal development, and negotiation
o Carry a revenue and profitability number for selling business consulting services in the Japan market

• Engagement Delivery
o Review and assess a client’s business strategy, including industry and competitive positioning and strategic direction
o Lead the business team in performing client engagements
o Provide thought leadership to create innovative business solutions to client needs and requirements
o Understand and assess the business impact of technology
o Interface with client management
o Estimate and scope projects

• Subject Matter Expertise
o Provide functional or domain experience within the high tech (Printer, embedded) industry - high tech product and solution development, semiconductors, software products and platforms, computing peripherals, mobile devices, consumer electronics, data networking, or wireless communications
o Have subject matter expertise in several areas of the product development lifecycle


Required Skills

Engagement Managers are typically experienced professionals who are at a management level in consulting firms or industry. Engagement Managers should possess the following qualifications:
• At least ten years experience in the hi-tech industry (Printer, Mobile)
• Track record of delivering successful customer engagements in the Japan market
• Seven or more years of functional or industry experience in the high tech industry
• Five or more years in a sales or management role
• High peer, end user, and/or client satisfaction with the work products that have been created
• Strong Business development experience
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel to meet client requirements
• An MBA degree strongly preferred
• Language requirement: Bi-lingual (English & Japanese) - Must
