As customer project manager you will be one of the key representatives for the client towards our customers. You will define the project scope, secure the necessary resources and plan and monitor all activities.
The Delivery Offices in IP & BB divisions are responsible for delivering all projects in the domain in SDO, CU Japan. We are now looking to strengthen our Customer Project Manager team with a driven and business focused project manager, with experience from doing business in Japan.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Managing the project life cycle from sales through project planning, project execution and to handover to support
Estimating project cost during the sales activity and managing project risks
Defining and reaching project goals, such as project scope, timing, quality targets
Managing the refined customer requirements and project documentation
Leading project progress reporting meetings with customer and project steering group
Acting as prime interface with the support functions within the organization
Acting as prime interface with the third party Suppliers, Vendors and/or partner
Experience of Network Operation in Japanese Operator: minimum 5 years. Experience in Mobile Operator is preferable.
You are willing to take on a big financial responsibility for managing the customer project. You enjoy working closely with customers and know how to manage customer relationships to achieve the best results. You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.
You should also have
University degree in Engineering
Minimum 2 - 3 years Project experience (preferably in field of telecommunications) in lead positions
Good knowledge of the Microsoft office package especially MS Project
International certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred
The ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to deliver under pressure
