As Business Development Manager your focus is on acquiring new clients mostly from the digital content, global retail and travel industry. Existing contacts or prior sales experience into this verticals is highly beneficial.
What you will do:
You will build a portfolio of target clients and attract new clients. These new clients might be found from supplied leads or already known within your existing network. The role is strategic and focused on delivering solutions to our customers, therefore the sales process can be complex at times and the sales cycle can be up to 12 months or longer. We are seen as a trusted advisor by our clients and provide leading class solutions so you will have both technical and business acumen, an ability to deliver value and not sell on price, be a strong negotiator, strategic sales trained and have the gravitas to operate at the ground and move up to engage at the C suite.
What makes you excel in this role:
You will have a proven track record of new business solution selling, within technology and you are familiar with long cycle consultative sales processes. Ideally you will have had some exposure to the industry verticals we work with. You will also need to be highly flexible in your approach and be independent to drive your performance to achieve stretching targets. With outstanding communication skills and an abundance of passion and energy you will thrive in the positive environment and be handsomely rewarded for your achievements. Besides strong analytical skills and methodological way of working, you will have excellent communication skills (concise and direct) and experience in identifying and influencing key decision makers and stakeholders.
