Our client is a leader in financial technology. Their portfolio spans across software, services, consulting &outsourcing solutions for the financial world.

The Japan Sales Manager role is a great opportunity to interact with a challenging market place and build strong business relationships with financial institutions. 

What you will do:

  • Build account penetration strategies for designated large target accounts 
  • Running complex sales process 
  • Working with marketing lead generation and qualification as well as designing and reviewing joint events, press release, case studies
  • Acquiring new clients through prospecting and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved 
  • Developing a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in assigned territory 
  • Developing add-on business from selected client portfolio 
  • Participating in sales calls and online visits to determine appropriate resources or representation by other departments to close the deal 
  • Building and developing relationship to work with key client at all levels 
  • Reflecting input activity within and maintaining accurate sales database (Salesforce.com) 
  • Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends 
  • Developing the ability to cross-sell other products (Post-Trade Services, Compliance solutions, Corporate Action Automation Processing among others) 

Required Skills

What you can offer:

  • Minimum of 5 years solution selling experience 
  • Proven track record selling into Japan 
  • Strong Sales background 
  • Sales management 
  • In-depth knowledge of Japan financial markets 
  • Strong verbal/presentation and written communication skills 
  • Fluent Japanese mandatory (JLPT1 or equivalent) 
  • Trading or risk background is desirable
