About the position:

 

The role as Team Leader Client Support is located within their Data Solutions vertical and will cover the the Support functions for the Japanese market. In this position you will be:

 

  • Responsible for the quality, responsiveness and timeliness of day-to-day client service activities.

  • Responsible to oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the CS team members in Tokyo

  • Develop and implement training and development activities for existing and new staff

  • Ensure all client requests are addressed effectively and are completed in a timely way.

  • Regularly review team activities for value, utility and productivity, and implement required changes

  • Harmonise local practices with global company protocols and standards

  • Effectively liaise and collaborate with internal colleagues and departments to support new/existing clients.

  • Identify key trends from client queries for planning  

  • Act as initial escalation point for team queries and issues

  • Learn to navigate the wider company systems, products and organisations to assist with resolution of issues.

  • Manage production incidents affecting Japanese PRD clients

  • Help to create team awareness of how their activity can assist to maintain and grow revenue through increased use of our services.

  • Participate with account management and sales team to address new business opportunities within existing client base.

  • International experience will be an advantage

 

Required Skills

  • approximately 5 years working experience in Client Service related function and/or in financial industry

  • A commitment to providing the highest possible level of customer service

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and computing applications

  • A good command of written and spoken business English

  • Ability to positively foster team morale

  • High level of initiative

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask

  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

  • Knowledge of the Financial Data Services industry preferred
