Job Description

Our client produces applications software that provides information capture, process management, data integration, customer communications management and analytics.

The Business Analyst is a pivotal member of the project team and will work with clients and stakeholders to reach shared understanding of business needs and how these can translate into a value-driven solution.

  • Functions as the liaison between the business, operations, and the technical project areas throughout the project cycle
  • Apply specific functional knowledge of  product suite of applications to help guide the design of the solution
  • Manage and conduct requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews and initial client discovery work
  • Prepare detailed requirement specifications, functional specifications, use case and work-flow diagrams and manage the requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Participate in testing effort in conjunction with the Project or QA Manager, including the design and execution of test scripts and scenarios
  • Prepare training materials appropriate for target audiences and developed solution and conduct training sessions
  • Confidently analyse data to make recommendations and inform decisions
  • Ensure best practices and consistent delivery approaches are utilized on assigned projects
  • Participate in identifying and creating re-usable assets and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency of delivery across projects
  • Support the development of strong client relationships by building trust, rapport and strong working relationships with sponsors, stakeholders and wider team
  • Preparation of tenders, POCs etc as required

Required Skills

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English
  • 4-6 years of consulting experience in client facing roles
  • 3-5 years experience gathering and documenting requirements
  • 2+ years of project coordination or team lead experience
  • Experience eliciting high-level business requirements and creating detailed functional specs as well as other documentation like requirements documentation, user stories, work-flow diagramsetc.
  • Knowledgeable of the capabilities of products for the specific solutionarea
  • Strong written communication, verbal communication and presentationskills
  • Strong interpersonal, team building, organizational and motivationalskills
  • Understanding and application of basic project management concepts, i.e. scope management, issue management, schedule management and clientmanagement
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment andindependently
  • Ability to understand the functional design and projectrequirements
  • Experience working with Imaging, Enterprise Content Management, Document Worfklow and Business Process, and eSignature solutions is a plus
