Job Description

  • Owns overall Cloud Services Delivery including all Cloud communications with customer.
  • Drive recurring analytical engagements with customers to refresh and update SLAs as appropriate.
  • Work Closely with Cloud Project Manager, Operations team and onsite resources on execution of Cloud tasks & operations.
  • Conduct internal & external kickoffs.
  • Coordinate with Consulting leads to align with project schedule to ensure key Cloud milestones built into plan including resources, environment availability dates, transition plan, performance testing, etc.
  • Assist Cloud Operations with development of protocols & procedures document.
  • Secure customer approval concerning activities & timing.
  • Participate in project steering committee and/or project status meetings during implementations.
  • Establish relationships with each customer that transcends the tactical cloud details, thus ensuring appropriate focus on longer-term customer objectives.
  • Continually steer key management to ensure awareness of current delivery status.
  • Drive overall Cloud delivery to success by keeping balance between customer’s expectations and delivery realities.
  • Communicate general direction, achievements, and the capabilities that are possible from Cloud Services.
  • Create ongoing awareness of potential service delivery opportunities that can offer to provide business benefits to customer.
  • Supports sales team as a representative Cloud Services Delivery team.
  • Nurture Customer Reference status.
  • Work with Sales/Pre-Sales and deliver CRs and Enhancements proposals to customer and obtain sign-off.
  • Ensures customer and implementation team adheres to Cloud policies and procedures.
  • Manage escalations for all Cloud Services related matters involving internal organizations as required.
  • Periodic customer reviews (provide Cloud Services Operations reports, ensure SLAs are being maintained and escalate where necessary).
  • Facilitate transition to Cloud Services.
  • Notify the customer of impending patches & gain agreement on timeline for implementation.
  • Work with customers to proactively plan technical upgrades.
  • Understand new product releases, specific benefits to customer and work with account team to position opportunities related to upgrade.
  • Manage Cloud Account financials (validate billings, invoice issues, collections).
  • Document Disaster Recovery procedures for customers.
  • Responsible for multiple customers (typically 8 to 15).

Required Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience managing external client relationships & internal client relationships.
  • Prior Cloud experience and/or Supply Chain background/experience preferred
  • Native Japanese communication skills with excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent networking skills, ability to navigate organizations and build strong relationships with leaders
  • Strong project management & consultative skills (PMP and/or Agile experience a plus)
  • Ability to work with overseas offices
