Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with target customers in Japan to drive additional revenue through the identification, development, sales execution and management of existing and new business opportunities in Japan.

The incumbent will be responsible for new sales revenue and revenue growth within existing customer base globally, selling the entire product portfolio, as well as developing and executing integrated solutions with our internal and external partners.


Roles and responsibilities:

- Create strategic sales plans and lead global account teams to maximize revenue and growth.

- Perform both retention and acquisition activities.

- Build and manage sales funnel in line with company goals, and accurately forecast and close sales against assigned quotas.

- Create integrated solutions proposals together with the pre-sales and support functions to address customer’s business problems.

- Develop relationships with client CIO, CxO, and Line of Business Owners and establish executive alignment between customer decision makers and senior leadership.


Key competencies and Skills:

- Proficiency in written and spoken English & Japanese.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills.

- Strong customer oriented presentation and negotiation skills

- 10 to 15 years’ experience with minimum 5 years’ experience in consultative B2B sales, global account management, and executive positioning.

- Experience in working for and/or with a large international organization and leading virtual teams.

- Sound business acumen and aptitude to understand key business drivers and financial knowledge to develop return on investment models.


Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required.

- 10 years of working experience in Japan.

- 5 years of telecommunication sales experience.
