Job Title: Sales Associate


This position performs advanced; diversified administrative and sales support duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience; skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices. Supports the office by performing administrative duties as specifically requested.

The Sales Associate provides support to an assigned sales team. This is a learning position, with the intent of building company knowledge, knowledge of the sales process and systems, demonstrating an aptitude, motivation, and desire to advance as a sales professional.

The Sales Associate will be learning to use professional concepts and will apply guidance of the Country Manager and/or other Sales professionals, professional concepts, or company policies and procedures to execute work and resolve routine issues. The Sales Associate works under specific direction on new tasks and assignments and with limited supervision on routine tasks

a) Sales Support

Provide Sales Managers and Account Executives with administrative support to achieve sales targets:

  • Compile and distribute client proposals
  • Coordinate RFP responses
  • Assist in coordinating and planning client events/meetings
  • Assist with CRM data management
  • Coordinate with Legal regarding contract proposals, extensions, and amendments creation and processing
  • Coordinate resolution of credits and billing issues with Finance
  • Assist with sales performance tracking
  • Provide ‘pre’ and ‘post’ marketing event administrative support (where applicable)
  • Assist in organizing exhibitions, attending various exhibitions (DIA Japan, Cloud Expo,
  • AVCJ etc.) to support sales rep (where applicable)
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop local activities (where applicable)
  • Screen phone calls (where applicable)
  • Create qualified leads with sales rep and consolidate customer list for Marketing (where
  • applicable)
  • Handle clients’ initial inquiries (where applicable)

b) Administrative Support (where applicable):

  • Maintain telephone/contact listing of the location

  • Admin support for non-confidential activities including Employee activities/meeting coordination (where required, ensure equipment are ready and attendance of participants)

  • Manage the office infrastructure and facilities covering office workstations; office equipment, such as telephones, faxes, printers, photocopiers, and teleconference equipment; office security and access; office cleaning and equipment maintenance (where applicable).

  • Manage the provisions of office supplies such as refreshments, stationary, name cards, offices services and consumables (where applicable)

  • Issuance of keys (where applicable)
  • Issue purchase requisition and purchase order forms (where applicable)

Sales Associates interact with contacts and information of a sensitive, complex and sometimes confidential nature both inside and outside of the company, requiring exceptional judgment and discretion. A fast growing Software as a Service (SaaS) company

Required Skills


  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration and business support; some sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, priorities, organize and work within tight timelines
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • IT and internet savvy
  • Knowledge of general office practice and business etiquette
  • Experience in a professional sales environment preferred
  • Good judgment, able to handle confidential information
