Job Description

  • Processing portfolio data and creating reports for monthly ABS Servicer reporting to maintain existing deals (monthly reporting, required filing, audit, etc)
  • On-going portfolio analysis for ABS program
  • Support ABS project (documentation, data creation etc) for new ABS deal.
  • Secure Liquidity for the Asia-Pacific Treasury (currently covering JPY, AUD, KRW and TWD) at any time
  • Adopt Funding Strategy to each market within Asia-Pacific Treasury  
  • Maintain and develop Debt Capital Market Program
  • Introduce all local available funding diversification opportunities in accordance with HQ-Treasury
  • Negotiate and coordinate local bank facilities
  • Direct reporting into Head of Treasury for Asia-Pacific Treasury in Japan and functional reporting to local managements and Treasury Coordination for Asia-Pacific region

Most important functions:

  • Ensure the mandatory ABS Reporting to all related parties
  • Support ABS structuring for documentations and data creation
  • Support DCM program update
  • Negotiate and coordinate all Bank-line issues in Asia-Pacific Treasury business
  • Monitor the local market closely to diversify funding sources
  • Negotiation of intra-group funding
  • Relationship Management with Banks  concerning funding issues
  • ALM monitoring and take necessary funding actions
  • Liquidity monitoring

Required Skills

Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum 3-year work experience in banking, securities and/or financial services industry

(Age: 25-33 year old candidate preferred to fit in the team)

  • Minimum 2-year professional experience in Corporate Finance, Structured Finance, Trading and/or Corporate Treasury
  • ALM knowledge especially interest rate and liquidity risk measures and management
  • Knowledge of Derivatives for interest rate hedges
  • Knowledge and experience of local and international Debt Capital Markets
  • Extensive PC skills (MS Excel, Power point and VBA etc)
  • Securitization knowledge and experience would be an advantage
  • SAP knowledge and experience would be an advantage

Qualification

  • Good communication skills in Japanese and in English
  • Studies of economics with high level degree
  • International experience and/or studies
  • Team player who acts proactively and finds way to contribute to the department’s and company’s objectives.
  • Willing to learn and challenge new things (self-learner preferred.)
