Job Description

  • Sell our clients software products and services by calling on all existing and prospective customers in the defined territory                     
  • Build and execute account plans, incorporating fundamental enterprise software sales strategies to deliver accurate sales forecasts                        
  • Expedite resolution of key customer complaints and problems                         
  • Leverage global and local partner relationships that can positively influence the purchase of their products and services                           
  • Use available internal resources such as marketing, technical support, and sales support effectively to meet individual sales goals                            
  • Provide sales mentoring/coaching for less experienced sales reps                   
  • Provide assistance to the global sales team related to global accounts that may exist in the territory                       
  • Develop and maintain a sufficient knowledge of the industries, trends and issues, to effectively align and apply their  technologies to meet customer's business goals                             
  • Maintain personal knowledge and skill levels with their products and sales support applications according to guidelines established through recurrent annual training within the Company or designated external resources                        
  • Make written and verbal sales presentations addressing the business needs of the customer to propose technology-based solutions            

Required Skills

Knowledge

A combination of experience (know-how) and practical understanding.

  • Relevant direct sales experience with a track record of success                 
  • Ability to sell based upon business value delivered, not feature/function                             
  • Ability to know how to get the right information from the right people (both internal and external)                        
  • Ability to speak to all levels of an organization

  • Degree qualified; preferably in an Engineering field
